July 10, 2014, Ashland Area Woodcarvers Annual picnic. An evening a good food and great fellowship was shared by the members of the club at Armco Park. In attendence were 54 happy pic-nic-ers !!! A great time with great food!!!

Friday May 16, 2014, Ashland Area Wood Carvers hosted a three day seminar in caricature carving taught by instructor and CCA president Bruce Henn. Bruce helped everyone with their projects and provided numerous tips to use in carving.  There were many projects for the students to choose from and everyone's projects turned out great. Thanks Bruce!!! We had a great time and learned a lot !

Ashland Area Woodcarvers are proud to introduce our new club logo. This art work was drawn by fellow woodcarver and extremely talented artist Don Stephenson of  Huber Heights Ohio who is a member of the Dayton Carvers Guild. 

2013 Christmas for the disabled vererans

 

The Ashland Area Woodcarvers presented the gifts from the club to the V.A. Hospital in Huntington WV. for the annual Christmas for disabled veterans project. President Roy Prince and member Dana Newsome presented the gifts to the V.A. patients on Friday December 20, 2013
